Project Overview

The US Army Corps of Engineers is performing maintenance dredging within the Harris Harbor and Aurora Harbors using the marine contractor Western Marine Construction to accomplish the work. The work additionally included the rebuilding of the Aurora Harbor breakwater timber wave barrier.

CBJ Docks and Harbors is cooperating with Corps to minimize impacts to harbor patrons and ensure that our harbors continue to be safe and navigable.  Please direct any comments or concerns to the Corps of Engineers.

April 2021 Update:

Western Marine Construction has completed the dredging work in Harris Harbor and has begun the dredging work on Aurora Harbor.
