Join public meeting for Dogwood Lane improvements (Mendenhall to Taku) on February 6

The City and Borough of Juneau and Homeshore Engineering will host a public meeting about proposed improvements to the Dogwood Lane area (Mendenhall to Taku) on Tuesday, February 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Mendenhall Valley Public Library Large Meeting Room.

At the meeting, CBJ and Homeshore will present proposed improvements for a project area covering Dogwood Lane from Mendenhall Avenue to Poplar Avenue and Poplar Avenue from Dogwood Lane to Taku Boulevard. (See attached.) Improvements include replacing water and sewer utilities, improving storm drainage, and resurfacing the roadway.

All neighborhood residents are welcome and encouraged to join the meeting and ask questions. Please note that this is a separate project from the Dogwood Lane (Columbia to Mendenhall) improvements, so interested residents who attended that meeting in September are also encouraged to join this meeting and learn more about the work that will be done on these sections of Dogwood Lane and Poplar Avenue.
