Downtown traffic patterns to be affected April 1 & 2

Concrete repair work will be taking place on Front Street on Monday and Tuesday, April 1st and 2nd, and will affect some downtown traffic patterns. The impacts are summarized below.

Monday, April 1:   Removal of concrete will take place near the intersection of Front and Seward. Traffic on Front Street will not be able to turn south onto Seward Street.

Tuesday, April 2: Removal of remaining concrete and pouring of new concrete will take place on Front Street near the intersection with Seward Street.   Front Street will be closed to through traffic while work is taking place. After completing the pour, the area will be plated over and Front Street will be reopened to traffic. Seward Street traffic will not be impacted during this time. Plates will remain in place for a week while the concrete cures.
