StoryPath is back: March 4-6 is “Who Lives Near A Glacier?”

March 1, 2022 – FYI

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation is partnering with Juneau Education Association and Juneau Public Libraries to bring StoryPath to the Overstreet Park Seawalk. Three books by Alaskan writers and illustrators will be featured over three weekends in March and April. Each StoryPath will feature framed pages of the story that you can read as you walk the Seawalk.

  • StoryPath #1: Who Lives Near A Glacier? – March 4-6
Written and illustrated by Susi Gregg Fowler and Jim Fowler
  • StoryPath #2: Little Red Snapperhood – March 18-20
Written and illustrated by Neal Gilbertsen and Evon Zerbetz
  • StoryPath #3: You Are Home With Me – April 1-3
Written and illustrated by Sarah Asper-Smith and Mitchell Watley

StoryPath, part of Juneau Education Association’s Read Across Alaska program, promotes reading, physical activity, and getting outside.

After each StoryPath, there will be a drawing for the book. Simply complete the short survey using the QR code found at the end of the StoryPath and be entered to win your own copy of the book. The drawing for the first StoryPath book Who Lives Near a Glacier? will take place on Monday, March 7.
