State reports two new COVID-19 cases for Juneau

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) reports two new residents in the Juneau community identified with COVID-19 for November 18. The state is expected to catch up on the Juneau cases it did not report – due to a DHSS technical issue – in its COVID-19 data summary tomorrow or Monday. There are currently two people with COVID-19 hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Statewide, DHSS reports 445 new people identified with COVID-19 – 442 are residents and three are nonresidents. Alaska has had 142,203 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 5,357 nonresidents.
