Starting March 1, CBJ rules for parking garages, lots & on-street parking resume
The City and Borough of Juneau will resume applying parking rules in Downtown Juneau effective March 1. That means CBJ’s downtown garages and pay lots will once again charge for parking, and on-street parking will be limited to two consecutive hours (or otherwise noticed time limit) during enforcement hours. See a map of the Downtown Parking Management Area here. CBJ will give warnings during a brief grace period before issuing citations.
The public can purchase parking permits for the Downtown Transit Center and Marine Parking Garage starting Monday, February 22. A valid permit will be required to park in these facilities effective March 1. The public is encouraged to purchase a permit by email or mail:
