Registration for summer Parent & Tot swim lessons opens May 29

Juneau Pools will offer two sessions of Parent & Tot swim lessons at both Dimond Park Aquatic Center and Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool this summer. Registration opens Wednesday, May 29 at noon. Register online through the Parks & Rec registration catalog (click on the “Juneau Pools” tab). Registrations will not be taken over the phone, in person, or in advance. Each session costs $80 for 8 lessons.

Parent & Tot Lessons are open to children aged 6 months to 3 years. Each child must be accompanied in the pool by an adult, and children are required to wear swim diapers during class. See the Juneau Pools website for a full class description.

Session 1 runs June 4 to June 27 and Session 2 runs from July 9 to August 1. Classes at AGB meet Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 3 p.m. and classes at DPAC meet Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Each class has 15 spaces available.
