New Open Turf program kicks off next week at Dimond Park Field House
CBJ Parks & Recreation is excited to launch a new program at the Dimond Park Field House! Open Turf is a weekly drop-in program where Juneau residents of all ages can share access to the turf, similar to open swim or open skate. As winter nears, stop by the Field House to play catch, scrimmage, or just stretch your legs in a warm and dry space.
Open Turf will take place Mondays and Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. beginning next Monday, September 16. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for youth/seniors. Punch passes and monthly passes are available for online purchase under the Field House tab. Single visit entries can be purchased at the front desk.
A variety of balls will be available for check out at the front office on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also bring your own equipment—just keep in mind that it will need to function in a controlled amount of shared space. Contact the Field House for questions about specific equipment.
Please be aware that children and youth must be supervised by an adult.
