Flood Debris Removal Continues By Request
There has been a steady decrease in demand for disaster debris collection in the past week, but we know that several homes are still removing damaged items and materials. Starting Wednesday, September 4, CBJ will switch to collecting debris by request. Please continue to bag and move your debris to the right-of-way, and when you’re ready for collection, email [email protected] with your street address.
Dehumidifier/Fan Drop-Off Tent Open Thursday-Saturday
Thanks to partner organizations such as Alaska DHS&EM, CBJ was able to supply many residents with dehumidifiers and fans for clean-up and repair work.
If you received one of these items and you would like to keep it permanently, you are welcome to do so! However, if you don’t have storage space, a drop-off tent will open this week where you can return your dehumidifier or fan for CBJ to store.
The tent will be up from Thursday, September 5 through Saturday, September 7 in the area between the Mendenhall Valley Library and Dimond Park Aquatic Center.
