Marine Park Shelter closed for April

Marine Park Shelter is closed due to CBJ Docks & Harbors continuation of its multiyear corrosion protection project along the downtown waterfront. Contractors will be installing an impressed current cathodic protection system adjacent to the Marine Park Pavilion. During the month of April, Island Contractors, and their subcontractors, are drilling two wells and installing anodes into these wells. This is designed to protect the sheet pile wall that forms Marine Park.

The work site will be fenced off for the month of April to protect the public as the contractor works to complete this important project before the cruise season begins.
