Juneau School District’s back-to-school registration & food service

August 19, 2020 – FYI

Registration

The Juneau School District has a new, secure, online registration process this year. Registration is required for kindergarteners and students new to the district. Students already enrolled in the district do not need to register each year. School starts Monday, August 24 for grades 1-12 and Thursday, August 27 for kindergarten. Preschool classes begin August 31.

  • Visit juneauschools.org and click on the Student Registration block to enroll.
  • Students who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2020 can register for kindergarten now. If you turned in your kindergarten registration to the school prior to the COVID-19 closure, you do not need to register again online.
  • New students need a birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residence for neighborhood school area, and transcript (for new high school students). These documents can be electronically uploaded during registration or delivered to the school.
  • Registration kiosks or phone assistance is available at each school for families without internet access or electronic devices.

For more information, contact your neighborhood school or contact the District Office at [email protected] or (907) 523-1722.
