Juneau libraries expanding hours starting Monday, May 24

Juneau Public Libraries are extending their hours starting Monday, May 24, and meeting rooms will once again be available for booking.

New Downtown and Mendenhall Valley branch hours
Monday thru Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

New Douglas branch hours
Monday thru Thursday: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday: 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Library meeting rooms, except for the Valley’s Large Meeting Room, will be available for booking starting May 24. Meeting rooms can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance. Use of the meeting room must be non-commercial and non-private in nature, free to attend, and open to the public. Read the full policy here. Currently, the meeting rooms have limited capacity: the Douglas Large Meeting Room can hold up to 15 people; the Downtown Large Meeting room can hold up to eight people; and the Downtown and Valley Small Conference rooms can hold up to four people.
