Juneau Assembly meetings on Jan. 5 & 10 will be virtual only, no in-person participation

The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly has a number of meetings in the coming week that were previously scheduled as in-person meetings but are now virtual only. These meetings are: Assembly Finance Committee Meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 5; Annual Assembly/Juneau Delegation Legislative Meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, January 10; Assembly Human Resources Committee at 6 p.m. Monday, January 10; and Regular Assembly Meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, January 10. CBJ’s Emergency Operations Center elevated the community risk level to Modified High yesterday due to the high case count numbers.

Here’s information on how to join/participate in the virtual meetings:

January 5 Assembly Finance Committee Meeting at 6 p.m.

January 10 Annual Assembly/Juneau Delegation Legislative Meeting at 9 a.m.

January 10 Assembly Human Resources Committee at 6 p.m.

January 10 Regular Assembly Meeting at 7 p.m.

  • To provide public comment during the meeting, call the Municipal Clerk’s Office at 907-586-5278 or email City.Clerk@juneau.org by 3 p.m. on Monday, January 10, and provide your name, email address, and phone number if you plan to call into the meeting. When participating via Zoom (hit the ‘raise hand’ button), or over the phone (press *9 on your phone to be added to the queue and press *6 to unmute your phone when you are called upon to speak). Members of the public are also encouraged to email their comments in advance of the meeting to BoroughAssembly@juneau.org.
  • The agenda will be available here by 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 7.
