JPD: Celebrate safely over Memorial Day weekend

The Juneau Police Department will have additional officers working throughout the Memorial Day weekend to conduct extra patrol activities, traffic safety, and DUI enforcement. The Mobile Incident Command Vehicle will be staffed and deployed out the road Saturday afternoon, May 29, through Monday morning, May 31.

JPD encourages everyone to wear seatbelts, observe speed limits, avoid distracted driving, and call for safe and sober rides if needed. Have fun and be careful while out and about this weekend.
