Join JCOS for Juneau solid waste Q&A sessions on February 20 and March 7

February 15, 2024 – News

The Juneau Commission on Sustainability (JCOS) will be hosting two community Sustainability Sessions featuring Q&As on Juneau’s solid waste issues:

  • Tuesday, February 20, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Mendenhall Valley Library
  • Thursday, March 7, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Downtown Library

Both events will be hybrid, and recordings will be available to watch online after the events.

CBJ staff members Dianna Robinson, Environmental Project Specialist, and Stuart Ashton, RecycleWorks Operations Manager, will give a brief presentation on Juneau’s solid waste systems and will be available to answer your questions about solid waste and recycling.

For Zoom details, visit juneau.org/calendar. Those participating remotely will be able to ask questions live over Zoom, or send questions in advance via email.

If you are unable to attend either session but have a question you would like answered, please email [email protected], and she will make sure that your question is included in the Q&A.
