Join CBJ for August 25 community listening session on North and West Douglas topics

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is hosting a Community Listening Session on Monday, August 25 to gather input on North and West Douglas issues. This public meeting will focus on three main topics: housing and infrastructure, transportation and roads, and tourism and recreation. People are invited to stop by between 5 and 5:30 p.m. for an Open House to learn more about the project and meet the team. A facilitated listening session will start at 5:30 p.m., with public comment taken both in person and via Zoom.

This listening session is part of an ongoing project to update CBJ’s Comprehensive Plan, a big-picture guide that helps the city decide how to grow and develop over the next 20 years.

When:

  • Monday, August 25
  • 5 – 5:30 p.m. – Open House (in person only)
  • 5:30 – 7 p.m. – Facilitated Public Comments (in person, and online)

Where:

Public comments will be limited to 3 minutes per comment. Anyone wishing to provide additional comment or unable to attend the meeting can send written comments to [email protected].
