If you care about Juneau’s trails, take this short survey

July 7, 2020 – FYI

The City and Borough of Juneau, Trail Mix, Alaska State Parks, and the U.S. Forest Service are partnering on the Juneau Trails Master Plan – a 20-year document that will define high-priority trails and projects, and identify and address opportunities and constraints in the Juneau trail system. Let the planning team know which trails you use the most, what recreational activities you most commonly use the trails for, and what trail projects you would like to see in the next 20 years by taking this survey. The survey will run until August 16. Take the survey now.

The Juneau Trails Master Plan will provide coordination and connectivity between the partner agencies for the maintenance and further development of the Juneau trail system. The plan will be developed through community outreach, including one-on-one meetings with user groups, this online survey, and a public meeting later this year. With this input, the plan will establish a trail maintenance schedule to meet the growing demand for trail recreation of all kinds.
