COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Lemon Creek and the Valley May 22 & 26

May 12, 2021 – News

Two more COVID-19 pop-up vaccine clinics – one in Lemon Creek and one in the Valley – are happening later this month. Both will offer a choice between a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Pfizer is currently authorized for ages 12 and up; Johnson & Johnson is authorized for ages 18 and up:

  • May 22, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the former CBJ Household Hazardous Waste facility, 5436 Commercial Blvd
  • May 26, 12 to 4:30 p.m. at the True North Federal Credit Union, 2777 Postal Way (next to Valley Post Office)

Sign up for an appointment at juneau.org/vaccine or call 586-6000. Registration isn’t required – the May 22 clinic will be open to drive-ups and the May 26 clinic will be open to walk-ins; choice of vaccine will be dependent on availability.

These two clinics are in addition to the previously announced single-dose Johnson & Johnson clinics ongoing though May 17:

  • May 13, 2 – 7 p.m. at UAS, Mourant Cafe, 11066 Auke Lake Way
  • May 14, 2 – 7 p.m. at UAS, Mourant Cafe, 11066 Auke Lake Way
  • May 15, 2 – 7 p.m. at UAS, Mourant Cafe, 11066 Auke Lake Way
  • May 17, 2 – 7 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 740 W 10th Street

Clinics are organized by Juneau Public Health Center and the City and Borough of Juneau in partnership with True North Federal Credit Union, University of Alaska Southeast, and Resurrection Lutheran Church

Several Juneau pharmacies and clinics – Costco, Fred Meyer, Genoa Healthcare, Juneau Urgent Care, Ron’s Apothecary Shoppe, and Safeway – are also offering the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson) with appointments throughout this month. Find those appointments here.
