Celebrate Alaska Public Gardens Day and Memorial Day at Jensen-Olson Arboretum

Jensen-Olson Arboretum will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, May 29, in honor of Memorial Day, in addition to its regular Saturday and Sunday hours.

This Saturday, May 27, is also Alaska Public Gardens Day.  Celebrate with a visit this weekend and see primroses from JOA’s Nationally Accredited^TM Collection for the genus Primula in full bloom. Admission is free to the public year-round.

This is JOA’s 16th year as a free public display garden. Visit the Arboretum website for information about directions, parking, and regular hours of operation.
