CBJ reports three new COVID-19 cases in Juneau

The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting three new residents identified with COVID-19 in Juneau. Public Health attributes two cases to community spread and one case is under investigation.

Cumulatively, Juneau has had 1,337 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 161 nonresidents. There are 10 active cases in Juneau and 1,483 individuals have recovered. All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation.

Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 41 new individuals identified with COVID-19 – 40 are residents and one is a nonresident. Alaska has had 67,403 cumulative resident cases of COVID-19 and a total of 2,805 nonresidents.
