The City and Borough of Juneau Streets & Fleet Maintenance Division requests drivers’ assistance this upcoming week to assist in snow removal operations in downtown Juneau. If conditions allow, staff plan to remove snow from the listed locations based on the following schedule:

Beginning at 8 pm on Saturday, January 1 until 8 am Sunday, January 2, Franklin St. to 4th St., Front Street, Gastineau Ave, Gold Street (2nd to 4th), 4th Street (Gold to Main) and 2nd St. (Main to Gold).

Beginning at 8 pm on Sunday, January 2 until 8 am Monday, January 3, 3rd St. Gold to Main, 5th St. Gold to Main, Basin Rd, Gold St. (8th to 4th) and 6th St.

Beginning at 8 pm on Monday, January 3 until 8 am Tuesday, January 4, Harris St., 7th, Main, Goldbelt, and Dixon St.

The public is asked to not park in those streets for the dates and times posted.

Towing will begin at 8pm each night. Snow blowing operations will start after cars are removed and the street is accessible for equipment.

There will be yellow No Parking signs to indicate you will be towed. Towed vehicles will be taken to the Whittier Street parking lot in the Centennial Hall/Zach Gordon complex. Please plan accordingly.
