Application period for a Parks & Recreation commercial use permit is now open

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is currently accepting Commercial Use permit applications for the 2020 season. Commercial Use permits authorize commercial activity on CBJ parklands. The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 15.

Parks & Recreation is only issuing a 1-year permit for the 2020 season. The department is currently considering changes to the regulations that govern commercial use of parks and recreation facilities. A second public comment period will take place this month. Any changes or updates to permits as a result of a change to the regulation will not affect permits for the 2020 summer season. Applications can be submitted by email to [email protected], fax 586-4589, or mailed/in-person to the Parks & Recreation office in City Hall, 155 S. Seward St. Applications may also be picked up at the office, Room 218 in City Hall.
