Amalga Cabin reservation date to go live at 6 p.m. daily instead of midnight

April 8, 2021 – FYI

Due to continued high demand for Parks & Recreation’s Amalga Cabin and in response to copious public input, reservations will soon open every day at 6 p.m., instead of midnight. The 6 p.m. reservation time goes into effect on Saturday, April 17. On that Saturday, the public will have an opportunity to rent the cabin for Friday, July 16. Reservations can be made here.

Amalga Cabin, which overlooks Eagle Harbor, is an easy 15-minute walk from the Eagle Valley Center and connects to the Boy Scout Beach trail. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made up to three months in advance. Cost is $75/day plus tax. Guests may reserve a maximum of three consecutive days. Use of the cabin is by reservation only.

Please also note:

  • Due to the continued high demand for the cabin, an individual can rent the cabin a maximum of 3 times in a 6-month period.
  • The cabin will be closed for maintenance July 12-July 15.
