Reduced hours for CBJ Recycling Center & Junk Vehicle Program

Due to reduced demand, the CBJ Recycling Center and Junk Vehicle programs will be operating at slightly reduced hours. The following operating days and hours go into effect today, April 6, until further notice:
CBJ Recycling Center:
Tuesday – Friday
- 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. Reserved for people who are at higher risk for severe illnesses from COVID-19 per CDC guidelines
- 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. General community
Saturday
- 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Junk Vehicle program:
Thursday, Friday & Saturday
- 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Residents can do their part to help CBJ keep solid waste collection programs open by following all of the procedures and adhering to the social distancing requirement while using these facilities, specifically all users must maintain at least 6 feet of spacing from other users at all times.
