2027 Juneau Affordable Housing Fund Application Opens to Developers on July 27 

The next round of applications for the Juneau Affordable Housing Fund will go out for competition on Monday, July 27, 2026, for projects that create affordable and middle-income housing opportunities. Developers are encouraged to apply for the $2 million competitive funding opportunity by the deadline on Monday, August 31 at 4:30 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.  

The Juneau Affordable Housing Fund (JAHF) allows for-profit developers, non-profit organizations, public and regional housing authorities, and tribal governments to apply for grants or loans to cover capital costs associated with the development of housing.  

Since 2021, the fund’s grants and loans have supported new construction and rehabilitation of existing housing stock to provide housing for seniors, vulnerable populations, and low- and middle-income residents. The JAHF has awarded over $14 million in housing loans and grants to 19 projects which are projected to create 316 additional housing units and bring over $91 million worth of new investment to the community.
