The filing period for the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly and Board of Education (School Board) opened Friday, July 18 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on Monday, July 28 at 4:30 p.m. Candidates have until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1 to withdraw their name from the ballot. Candidate names are listed below in the order in which they were certified.

Voters will elect:

-One candidate for Assembly Areawide
-One candidate for Assembly District 1
-One candidate for Assembly District 2
-Three candidates for Board of Education

Please note: Voting districts are solely for the purpose of the residency of the candidate! This is different from state elections. Voters may choose to vote for all races on the ballot. Assemblymembers and Board of Education members serve areawide.
