CBJ seeks community feedback on communication & engagement

The City and Borough of Juneau is inviting you to share your thoughts on how we at CBJ communicate and engage with the community. A new survey, below, gives residents the opportunity to provide feedback on current communication efforts and express preferences for staying informed about CBJ news and updates.

“Our goal is to stay connected with our community and ensure all residents can engage and receive important information in ways that work best for them,” said CBJ City Manager Katie Koester.  “We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete the survey and help shape the future of CBJ communications.”

The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete. We appreciate your input and look forward to using this feedback to improve our communication and engagement efforts.

Healthy Bones aquatic fitness class at AGB starts March 4

Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool is rolling out a new aquatic fitness class! Starting March 4, stop by the pool on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. for an all-ages class designed to provide a gentle yet-effective workout for those seeking to improve strength and joint care.

Through low-impact exercises in the water, participants will engage in movements that strengthen muscles, enhance flexibility, and reduce joint stress. The buoyancy of the water provides a safe and supportive environment, making it ideal for individuals with arthritis or those looking to prevent bone density loss. The class emphasizes posture, coordination, and overall mobility to help boost confidence and prevent falls.

No registration is required—just show up with your swimsuit, towel, and water shoes (optional but recommended!).

Regular pool admission applies, and pool passes are accepted.

Learn more at juneaupools.org about Aquatic Fitness Classes available at DPAC and AGB.
