Celebrate with holiday events at Treadwell Arena November 22 & 24

Two annual favorites return as Treadwell Arena hosts Turkey Bowling and Santa Skate over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend!

First, lace up your skates and trade in your bowling ball for a frozen turkey on Wednesday, November 22 from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. Knock down the most pins to win a turkey to take home! General admission rates apply and include skate rentals.

Then return to the rink for FREE on Friday, November 24, for a family-friendly Santa Skate from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Both admission and skate rentals are free of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Douglas Fourth of July Committee—just be aware that rental skates are limited and first come, first served.

For more information, contact Treadwell Arena at (907) 586-0410 or visit treadwellarena.org.

CBJ October 3, 2023 Regular Municipal Election – MANY THANKS!!!

CBJ Ballot Processing Center

CBJ – Regular Municipal Election, October 3, 2023

Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!

I would like to extend my gratitude to all the Juneau voters who participated in this year’s October 3, 2023 Regular Municipal Election. My thanks to the CBJ Assembly for investing in the CBJ Ballot Processing Center so we can conduct By-Mail elections entirely locally here in Juneau. My biggest debt of gratitude goes to our amazing Election Team who sacrificed their time, family events, evenings and weekends for months to ensure this election ran smoothly and that elections will continue to do so in the future. Here at CBJ, the Municipal Clerk/Election Team strives to put voter enfranchisement and the conduct of  impartial, fair, accurate, and transparent elections at the forefront of all our election work. Anyone interested in being an election worker is encouraged to contact our office to become part of this vital process.

THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!
