Please check vessels — especially in Auke Bay’s Statter Harbor

CBJ Dock & Harbors requests that all boat owners check their vessels as quickly as possible, especially in Auke Bay. Please monitor them throughout the weekend. Winds are coming in from the southwest, which adversely affects boats moored in Statter Harbor. Please check to see that mooring lines are secure and pumps are operating correctly. Please stow any items that may interfere with snow removal (utility cords, water hoses, and mooring lines). This will help us to avoid any downtime by not having to service equipment.
