Please check vessels during snowy weather

CBJ Docks & Harbors requests all boat owners to check their vessels as soon as possible. This series of storms will continue to impact our area with heavy snow and rain. Please make sure that mooring lines are secure, pumps are operating correctly, and boats are not accumulating heavy snow and rainwater. Please stow any items that may interfere with snow removal (utility cords, water hoses, mooring lines). This will help us to avoid any downtime by not having to service equipment.

The closure will last approximately five weeks while City and Borough of Juneau contractor Trucano Construction rebuilds portions of the Seawalk to match the grade of the newly constructed adjoining deck. Pedestrians will be rerouted around the construction area during the closure.
