Description:

Reconstruction of Ferry Way from Franklin Street to Marine Way, and a new crosswalk on Marine Way at Seward Street. The Ferry Way storm drain and sanitary sewer systems will be reconstructed, the road embankment will be replaced to a 24-inch depth and surfacing materials will be replaced with new asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and concrete sidewalk. Planters, benches and trees will be installed within the bulbouts at the intersection of Ferry Way and Marine Way. Only minor improvements will be made to the water system. The existing street-lighting system will be replaced with new pole-mounted, light emitting diode (LED) lights.
