With more precipitation and rising temps, please help keep drains and hydrants clear

The City and Borough of Juneau Streets Maintenance Division is asking residents to provide assistance with clearing drains on or near their property. With the amount of snow that has fallen, and the forecast for significant additional precipitation and rising temperatures, there is an increase in the risk of flooding due to blocked drains. Any assistance that can be provided in clearing drains is greatly appreciated.
Residents are also asked to please keep fire hydrants clear after shoveling or snow blowing.
