
Valley Library reopens today, May 28

The Mendenhall Valley Public Library has officially reopened and will be open until 8 p.m. tonight. Library staff are excited to see you there. When you visit, please adhere to some guidelines that are in place to protect the health of library patrons and staff:
- Please wear a face covering (like Max!). Cloth face coverings should not be worn by children under age 2.
- Maintain at least 6 feet from others not in your household.
- Return library materials to the exterior bookdrop.
- If you’re feeling sick or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, don’t visit the library.
- Wash your hands in the public and/or family restrooms. Hand sanitizer is also available at public service desks.
The Downtown and Douglas Public Libraries reopen this Sunday, and the same guidelines apply. Moving forward, the Valley Library will be open Wednesday to Saturday each week, and the Downtown and Douglas Public Libraries will be open Sunday to Wednesday.
