UPDATED: Perseverance Trail open October 5, trail work scheduled next week

Due to changing weather forecasts, helicopter operations scheduled for Thursday, October 5 have been postponed and Perseverance Trail will remain open to the public.

While the closure is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, operations are highly weather-dependent and may be rescheduled later in the week depending on conditions. Please check the CBJ Parks & Recreation Facebook page or juneau.org/newsroom for the latest information.

During the closure, Trail Mix, Inc. will work with Coastal Helicopters to fly in bridge materials for the trail. We appreciate the community’s understanding as we work to keep our public trails safe and well-maintained.
