Update on Ferry Way construction

Construction on Ferry Way remains on schedule for substantial completion by May 15. The utiliwalk demolition is complete, the storm and sewer improvements are finished, and the curb and gutter are nearly complete.

Work on the lighting system and concrete sidewalk will begin next week, and the paving date is tentatively set for May 1.

As work progresses adjacent to the intersection with Marine Way, pedestrians traversing the work zone along Marine Way are encouraged to follow the posted pedestrian routes with caution, and utilize the channel-side sidewalk when possible.
