Tonight’s Centennial Hall Civic & Arts Center Expansion Project public meeting is happening

Tonight’s virtual public meeting on the Centennial Hall Civic & Arts Center Expansion Project scheduled for April 29 at 5-6:30 p.m. is taking place. The public can join online here, or call 1-346-248-7799 or 1-669-900-6833 or 1-253-215-8782 with Webinar ID: 849 0422 1428 and Passcode: 641507.

For members of the public who have issues connecting to the meeting tonight, organizers plan to hold another meeting at a later date that presents the same information. The City and Borough of Juneau will notify the public of the secondary meeting date.

The Centennial Hall Civic & Arts Center Expansion Project is exploring conceptual design options to expand Centennial Hall to add meeting rooms and performing art spaces that were identified by the New JACC Partnership, Travel Juneau, and prior studies on Centennial Hall needs. The meeting will include online polling on key points as well as opportunity for Q&A.

Presenters include CBJ Architect Nathan Coffee, the Partnership’s Bud Carpeneti, Juneau Arts & Humanities Council Executive Director Nancy DeCherney, Travel Juneau Executive Director Liz Perry, NorthWind Architects’ Sean Boily, and Jensen Yorba Wall Architects’ Corey Wall. Technology for the meeting will be provided by Lucid Reverie’s Pat Race.
