Thane Road closure for avalanche hazard reduction today, March 18, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) plans a road closure for Thane Road today, March 18, from noon to 2 p.m. During the closure, DOT&PF will conduct avalanche hazard reduction (weather permitting). An extended road closure may be necessary if avalanche debris reaches the roadway.
