Teal Street Reconstruction To Begin April 28
The City and Borough of Juneau and North40 Construction will begin work on the Teal Street Reconstruction Project on Friday, April 28. Work is expected to continue through August.
The construction area will stretch from the Jordan Avenue intersection to the intersection with Crest Street. Please follow all traffic control signage in this area as sections of the road may periodically be closed to traffic. Emergency and pedestrian access to the Glory Hall, Teal Street Center, and St. Vincent DePaul’s will be maintained throughout construction.
The project includes replacement of the road base, sewer system, water system, and storm system, as well as new pavement, addition of sidewalk, curb and gutter, street lighting, and other miscellaneous work.
