Slightly delayed results for COVID-19 tests done at CBJ testing facilities Thurs. Sept. 23

Individuals getting COVID-19 tests at CBJ’s COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing facility, CBJ’s pop-up testing clinic in the Downtown 20th Century Theatre, or through the Juneau School District on Thursday, September 23, will see a slight delay in results coming back. Instead of results back within 24 hours, results will be returned within 48 hours.

The Roche testing machine at Bartlett Regional Hospital, which processes these tests, is getting a maintenance checkup and won’t be in use during the day on Thursday. Tests, instead, will run Thursday evening and Friday. There will likely be a residual delay of results turnaround for tests done on Friday as the hospital catches up.
