Sigoowu Ye Park Now Open, Ribbon Cutting on August 29

Updates to Sigoowu Ye Park (Fun Place Park) in Lemon Creek are now complete. The park opened to the public on Friday, July 31 with new playground equipment, upgraded pathways and landscaping, and improved lighting based on input from residents and the community.  

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation department invites community members to a ribbon cutting ceremony and community BBQ to celebrate the reopening of the park. The celebration will be held at Sigoowu Ye Park, located at 5921 Pine Street in Lemon Creek, on Saturday, August 29 from 12 to 2 p.m.
