Sign up now for a Saturday, April 17, vaccine clinic at Centennial Hall

April 1, 2021 – News

Anyone in Alaska age 16 and up is eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine. A clinic on Saturday, April 17, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Centennial Hall will distribute 600 Pfizer doses. Make an appointment now at juneau.org/vaccine or call 586-6000. This is your last opportunity to get a vaccine at a Centennial Hall mass clinic. Following the April 17 clinic, organizers will pivot to smaller, more targeted clinics.

After checking in and getting the vaccine, you’ll be monitored for 15 minutes for any adverse reactions. Second-dose appointments for May 8 will be made at the clinic. Everyone is required to wear a mask.

If you’re making an appointment on behalf of someone who doesn’t speak English, email [email protected] or call 586-6000 ahead of their clinic appointment so translation services can be arranged.

The clinic is organized by Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH), Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, Juneau Public Health Center, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium, and City and Borough of Juneau.

Appointments are still available for the April 5-8 clinic at Centennial Hall on juneau.org/vaccine, as well as at other pharmacies and providers in Juneau. To see current available appointments at Fred Meyer, go to this statewide website (click on the Juneau button). Contact information for other Juneau vaccine providers is here, or ask your local doctor or nurse about getting a vaccine.
