Sandy Beach parking lot in Douglas will be closed Saturday, August 1 until 1 p.m.

City and Borough of Juneau contractor Arete Construction will be completing paving of Savikko Road from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, August 1. The public will not be able to access the Sandy Beach parking lot until after 1 p.m. If residents want to access Sandy Beach Saturday morning, they may do so by utilizing the staircase between the beach recreation area and St. Ann’s Avenue.
