Rescue exercise in Lemon Creek on Saturday, March 2

Capital City Fire/Rescue, City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Management, Juneau Mountain Rescue, Juneau Police Department, Southeast Alaska Dogs Organized for Ground Search and others will be performing a simulated urban avalanche rescue exercise on Saturday, March 2.

The training will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Charlies Way at the end of Shaune Drive across from Costco.

The public is asked to please watch for pedestrians and avoid unnecessary traffic in this area. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation while rescue workers conduct this critical training.
