Registration for preschool, youth and adult swim lessons opens August 22

Juneau Pools will offer a new session of swim lessons for preschoolers, youth, and adults at Dimond Park Aquatic Center (DPAC) and Augustus Brown Swimming Pool (AGB) beginning in early September. Registration opens Friday, August 22, at noon and will be accepted online only at bit.ly/registerCBJparks — click the “Juneau Pools” tab to view the full schedule. Registration will not be accepted over the phone, in person, or in advance.

Scholarships are available; applications are due by Wednesday, August 20 at noon at bit.ly/ZGYCscholarship. Lesson descriptions and level details can be found at bit.ly/CBJSwimLessons.

At DPAC, Preschool Levels 1–3 (ages 3–5) and Youth Levels 1–4 (ages 6–12) will run from September 2-25 on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:15 and 7:00 p.m. The cost is $80 plus tax.

At AGB, Preschool Levels 1–3 (ages 3–5) and Youth Levels 1–4 (ages 6–12) will run from September 3 through September 29 on Mondays and Wednesdays between 4:15 and 6:45 p.m., also for $80 plus tax. Adult Swim Lessons (ages 13 and up) will be offered from September 3-22 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 – 7:45 p.m. The cost is $72 plus tax.
