Register to Vote and Update Your Mailing Address by September 6 

To participate in the 2026 Municipal Election, make sure you are registered to vote and have the correct mailing address on file before this Sunday, September 6. Visit myvoterportal.alaska.gov if you do not know your voter registration status or listed mailing address. You can register to vote or make updates by visiting voterregistration.alaska.gov, City Hall or any public library. 

Residents turning 18 years of age by election day, October 6, are eligible to vote in the municipal election if they are registered by the September 6 deadline. Residents can register to vote up to 90 days before their 18th birthday. 

Ballots will be mailed to registered Juneau voters on September 18. Vote Centers will open for in-person voting starting on September 21. The last day to vote is Tuesday, October 6.
