Recycle your holiday tree for free January 26-27

January 2, 2024 – News

CBJ is partnering with Juneau Composts! to accept holiday trees to be recycled for free from January 26-27. Drop off your tree on Friday, January 26 or Saturday, January 27 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at CBJ’s Household Hazardous Waste facility, located at 5600 Tonsgard Court. Upon entering the facility, take an immediate right and follow the Recycling/HHW signs.

Please note that trees must be free of decorations or other foreign materials as they will be chipped and used for composting.  Wreaths or other ‘tree-like’ decorations will not be accepted.

JDHS Cheer will be picking up trees to be recycled. If you wish to have your tree picked up, please contact Coach Nore by text at (907) 723-6580 to sign up. A $10 donation is kindly requested.
