Received a Ballot Cure Letter? Here’s What to Do to Make Sure Your Ballot is Counted 

If you voted in the 2026 City and Borough of Juneau Municipal Election, you may receive a ballot cure letter if an issue was found with your ballot envelope. In the 2025 City and Borough of Juneau Municipal Election, 157 voters out of over 10,000 received a cure letter.  

If you receive a cure letter, it is an opportunity to correct the issue so your ballot can be counted. Follow the steps outlined in the letter as soon as possible to provide the requested correction. Corrections must be received by Monday, October 19 at 4:30 p.m. Letters can be delivered: 

• In person at the Ballot Processing Center (1325 Eastaugh Way) or City Hall (155 Heritage Way) during regular business hours  

• Electronically by emailing [email protected] 

• Through the mail at P.O. Box 33579, Juneau, AK 99803
