Please move vehicles for snow removal in Douglas today, January 20

CBJ Streets & Fleets Maintenance will perform snow removal operations in the downtown Douglas area from 5 p.m. tonight, Saturday, January 20 through 8 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, January 21.

Snow removal will begin on 5th Street and continue on 2nd Street if time allows.

Residents and vehicle owners on these streets are asked to move their vehicles in advance of this work so snow can be cleared as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Vehicles left on the street will impact operations and cause delays in the snow removal process.

Residents are welcome to park vehicles in the Savikko Park lot while snow removal is underway.
