The Regular Planning Commission meets October 11, 2022, at 7 P.M. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting held both in person and via Zoom, and will be to review permits for an Alternative Residential Subdivision and development of condominiums.

Preliminary plan approval for an Alternative Residential Subdivision, developing up to 444 dwelling units on 19.71 acres (ARP2022 0001)
The applicant requests preliminary plan approval for an Alternative Residential Subdivision, developing up to 444 dwelling units on 19.71 acres, zoned D18, at 7400 Glacier Highway. The applicant purchased the property in May of 2022. Owners initially intended to proceed with the approved subdivision of the lot into 24 common wall lots and two larger lots. Subsequent market analysis prompted the modification to the development under this application.
Development of condominiums with up to 21 dwelling units (USE2022 0011)
The applicant proposes 21 condominium units in a Waterfront Commercial Zone at 11445, 11465, and 11485 Auke Bay Harbor Road. The lot is between Glacier Highway on the uphill side and Statter Harbor on the downhill side. The proposed structure is a three-story apartment-style condominium. Underground parking is supplemented with a parking lot to the North; the Site Plan shows 16 above-ground, off-street parking spaces in a lot.
