Parks & Rec welcomes new Aquatics Manager

The City and Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is excited to welcome Kollin Monahan as its new Aquatics Manager. Kollin is a lifelong swimmer, lifeguard, and swim instructor. He most recently managed aquatics facilities and programs for Indiana State University, where he also studied recreation management and occupational safety. Kollin will oversee both the Augustus Brown Swimming Pool and the Dimond Park Aquatic Center, including more than 100 full- and part-time staff. He just started this week and will split his time between both pools.
